Specifically designed 10-Fe1Mn1-USY hydrophobicity material for acetone adsorption under high humidity condition

Abstract Acetone is a solvent used in many laboratories and factories. Serious problems will occur when it exposed to the environment. Therefore, new design hydrophobicity bimetallic metal material (10-Fe 1 Mn -USY) was prepared for acetone adsorption under conditions of high humidity. Hydrophobic Y type zeolite prepare materials effect different operating parameters (including material, humidity, temperature, pollutant concentration, residence time, regeneration) on efficiency treatment examined. Isothermal model, kinetics thermodynamic model analysis were also establish reaction mechanism. The 10-Fe -USY has good capacity (133 mg g −1 ) relative humidity 50%. main factors affecting are contact angle, hydrophobicity, specific surface area, Si/Al material. isothermal kinetic behavior more suitable Temkin isotherm pseudo-first-order model. by dominated intra-particle diffusion. According results, physical adsorption, spontaneous non-sequential reaction.
